Titus 2:11
Paul does not say the grace of God has appeared to the elect. He does not say it has appeared to those who were prepared to receive it. He says it has appeared to all men — pasin anthrōpois, every human being without exception. The appearing is the incarnation — the grace of God taking on flesh and stepping into history. And that appearing was not targeted at a subset of humanity. It was addressed to all. This is Thread 7 in its most compressed form: the provision is universal, the appearance was to all, and the invitation that flows from it carries the same scope as the grace that generates it. Whosoever will may come because the grace that brings salvation has appeared to everyone the invitation reaches.
Open my heart today to the full scope of what you have done — grace that appeared not just to me, but to all. Let that make me generous with the invitation.
